The Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional USPTO hosts an interactive rotating 3-part series on the patent process, types of patent applications and how to file, and patent searching every 3rd Wednesday of each month. This event is intended for individuals with a beginning to intermediate level of knowledge of patents. Get the most out of Patent Wednesday by checking out the Patent Process Overview prior to the event.

Each class builds off the prior class, while it is not necessary, it is recommended to attend the series in order.

Part 1 - Patent Process - January 16, 2019; April 17, 2019; July 17, 2019; October 16, 2019.

Part 2 - Types of Patent Applications and How to File - February 20, 2019; May 15, 2019; August 21, 2019; November 20, 2019.

Part 3 - Patent Searching - March 20, 2019; June 19, 2019; September 18, 2019; December 18, 2019.
